As Chi Omegas, we find that our Ritual and the Six Purposes serve as a guide in our pursuit of happiness and a balanced life. Since 1895, six purposes have guided the direction of every chapter and brought its members unequaled opportunities for personal growth and development. Today, they are still valid as these intelligently interpreted purposes help to preserve and enhance the best values within our membes. These six purposes guide each Chi Omega member and include the following: friendship, sincere learning and credible scholarship, high standards of personnel, career development, campus involvement, and community service.
